Morning Reflections
A Sunrise Full of Joy…
There are mornings that simply remind you how beautiful life can be.
The sun slowly rose over the low tide as the sky filled with soft golden light. Before long, the birds were circling with excitement, and it’s impossible not to smile when they’re flying toward you. Their joy is contagious.
Harlequin stopped by to say good morning before enjoying breakfast with everyone else. The seagulls announced the start of the day with their cheerful barking, while piles of pigeons landed on my arm, filling my heart with the kind of happiness that words can barely describe. Pegleg happily found his peanuts, and just as I was getting ready to leave, Domino made her grand entrance, making the morning feel complete.
My little yellow note said it perfectly:
“You woke up with another sunrise. That’s a gift. Enjoy every minute.”
Every sunrise is an invitation to notice the beauty around us, to slow down, to appreciate the little moments, and to begin the day with gratitude. Today was another beautiful reminder that happiness is often found in the simplest things.
I am so grateful for these mornings. 💛
