Morning Reflections

A Single Second Can Change Everything…

There was something beautifully quiet about this Monday morning on the pier.

The day began softly, with the sun slowly rising over the beach and painting the sky in warm shades of gold. The ocean was calm, the pier was peaceful, and for a little while, it felt like the whole world was simply waking up.

Of course, my little friends were there. 🕊️ Some lined up along the railing, patiently waiting, while others gathered for breakfast. And then came one of my favorite sights, wings filling the morning sky as the birds began flying around me.

I caught a few of them flying right through the golden sunrise, and it was absolutely beautiful. There is something about seeing those wings against the morning light that always makes me stop and appreciate exactly where I am.

A boat moved quietly across the water in the distance, the waves rolled toward shore, and the sun continued climbing higher.

This morning’s quote felt especially perfect:

“A year can change everything. So can a month, a week, a day and a single second.”

Life really can change that quickly. One moment, one decision, one unexpected encounter, one little second can take us somewhere we never imagined.

Maybe that’s why these quiet mornings mean so much. They remind me not to rush past the seconds that seem ordinary. Sometimes those are the very moments that become the ones we remember.

A quiet Monday morning. A beautiful sunrise. Birds all around me. Another new week beginning.

And once again, I’m simply grateful.

Grateful for another beautiful start to the day.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
