Evening Reflections

A Little Halloween Magic in Santa Monica…

Tonight, Santa Monica was glowing with a little extra magic!

As I walked along the beach, the Ferris wheel lit up the evening sky with the most beautiful colors. Brilliant pinks, greens, oranges, and yellows danced across the sky, but the real magic was happening beneath my feet.

The tide was low, and the wet sand had become a giant mirror, reflecting every beautiful color from the pier.

It was absolutely mesmerizing!

I stood there watching the Ferris wheel change colors, and with every new combination, the reflections transformed right along with it. It was almost like getting two beautiful light shows at once, one above me and one below.

I love moments like these. Moments when something I’ve seen so many times suddenly looks completely different.

And tonight, being Halloween, I couldn’t resist adding a little humor to the evening!

“Halloween happens but once a year, unless of course you live in Santa Monica!”

There really is something magical about living somewhere that offers so much beauty, color, and unexpected joy.

As I watched the waves gently roll in and the reflections shimmer across the sand, I was reminded that life is full of beautiful surprises when we take the time to notice them.

Sometimes we spend so much time looking ahead that we forget to look down, look around, or simply stand still and appreciate what’s right in front of us.

Tonight, the beauty wasn’t just in the lights of the Ferris wheel. It was in the quiet beach, the gentle ocean, the changing colors, and the simple gift of being there to experience it all.

Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective to see the magic that’s already there.

Another beautiful evening. Another memory to treasure. Another reason to be grateful.

Happy Halloween from Santa Monica!

Grateful for the colors, the reflections, the ocean, and all the little moments that make life so extraordinary.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
