Morning Reflections
A Halloween Morning Full of Wings…
What a beautiful Halloween morning at Venice Pier!
The sky was filled with dramatic gray clouds, with little pockets of golden sunshine peeking through. The ocean was peaceful, the waves gently rolling toward shore, and the whole morning had a little Halloween magic in the air.
And then came the wings!
My beautiful feathered friends were everywhere. Flying overhead, swirling through the sky, landing on the railings, and filling the morning with so much life and joy.
I never get tired of watching them fly. There is something so breathtaking about seeing all those wings against the sky. Each bird has its own personality, its own way of greeting me, and its own special place in my heart.
They make my days brighter simply by being here.
Of course, I had to bring a little Halloween humor along with my daily messages!
“What is a vampire’s favorite blood type? B-positive!”
A little reminder that no matter what life brings, we can always find something to smile about and something to be grateful for.
I often think about how much these birds have changed my life. They’ve taught me to slow down, pay attention, appreciate the little things, and find joy in moments that others might walk right past.
Not every beautiful morning needs a bright blue sky. Sometimes the most beautiful mornings come wrapped in gray clouds, touched with golden light, and filled with hundreds of wings.
And sometimes, the sunshine in your life isn’t something you see in the sky. It’s something you feel in your heart.
I’m so grateful for these little souls, for their trust, for their company, and for the happiness they bring into my world.
What a gift it is to be here. What a gift it is to love them.
Happy Halloween!
Grateful. Always. ❤️
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
