Evening Reflections
A Glimpse of Gold…
Tonight, in Hermosa Beach, the sky wore its June gray blanket, but just above the horizon, a small ribbon of sunlight peeked through. It was a reminder that beauty doesn’t always arrive in a grand display. Sometimes it shows up as a tiny sliver of light when you least expect it.
The waves rolled in with purpose, cargo ships rested quietly in the distance, and Manhattan Beach Pier stood watch over the evening. Out on the water, one surfer looked like he was having the time of his life, chasing wave after wave without a care in the world.
As I watched, I thought about my message for today:
“And if things don’t go as planned, let it be. There will always be great things out there waiting for you.”
Maybe that’s exactly what the ocean teaches. The wave you wanted may pass you by, but another one is already on its way.
Grateful for gray skies, crashing waves, a glimpse of sun, and the reminder to trust what’s ahead. 🌊✨
Capturing beauty, sharing light

Gratitude Reflection:
Sometimes all it takes is one small break in the clouds to remind us that hope is still there.
