Evening Reflections

Where the Sky Reminds You to Shine…

Tonight, the Texas sky stretched wide and endless, painted in warm gold and soft fire as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon. Out here, everything feels a little quieter… a little more honest.

The donkeys greeted me with their gentle curiosity, the llama stood tall like a quiet guardian of the land, and a turkey wandered through like he had nowhere else to be but exactly here. And above it all, the moon showed up early… soft, steady, and constant.

There’s something beautiful about the contrast—rusted barns, open fields, worn fences… and yet the sky above shines like a masterpiece. It’s a reminder that beauty doesn’t need perfection. It just needs presence.

And right there in that moment, holding onto the fading light, I was reminded:

The world needs your light.

Not when everything is perfect. Not when you feel ready. Just as you are, right now.

The sky doesn’t wait to be flawless to shine… and neither should we.

Grateful for these quiet reminders, for open spaces, and for moments that gently bring us back to ourselves.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
