What a Privilege to Wake Up and Try Again…
What an incredibly beautiful morning!
The sky was absolutely breathtaking today. Layers of clouds stretched across the heavens as the sunshine peeked through, creating the most beautiful display of light. The ocean was alive with rolling waves, and the reflections along the shoreline were simply magical.
Every morning brings something different, and that’s one of the things I love most about life. There is always something beautiful waiting to be discovered.
My feathered friends were a little quieter than usual this morning except for the beautiful flybys. Some of the pigeons lined up along the railing, enjoying the peaceful start to the day.
And then there was My Little Buddy.
I called for him, and here he came! Watching him balance on his one little foot touches my heart every single time. He tries so hard, never giving up, never letting his circumstances stop him.
He is such a beautiful reminder of resilience. Life may have taken something from him, but it certainly hasn’t taken away his determination or his ability to trust and love.
And, of course, Honey Girl made her usual surprise appearance from behind! She always finds a way to make me smile. I just love her sweet little personality.
As I walked back down the pier, I couldn’t help but look up again. The clouds and sunshine were so heavenly that I wanted to stop and take it all in.
Sometimes the most beautiful moments happen when we simply slow down enough to notice them.
Today’s message couldn’t have been more fitting:
“What a privilege it is to be able to wake up and try again.”
Watching My Little Buddy reminds me that every day is another opportunity. Another chance to grow, to learn, to love, and to keep moving forward, no matter what challenges life brings.
We don’t have to be perfect. We just have to keep trying.
I’m so grateful for another beautiful morning, another opportunity to experience this incredible world, and these precious little souls who continue to teach me so much about life.
Every sunrise is a gift. Every new day is a privilege. And every opportunity to try again is a blessing.
