Evening Reflections
Watermelon Light…
Tonight was beautiful. The sun passed through the clouds in a wash of orange, then came out the other side watermelon—soft pinks and reds melting into the sea. I love watching it dip down into the ocean. Pegleg made sure to greet me, as always. Sailboats passed one another like old friends, nodding hello in the wind. And bubbles were drifting through the air—light, playful, unexpected. It was perfect. My message tonight was simple: Be present. Be patient. Be grateful. And I was.
