Evening Reflections

Waiting for the Moon…

I love Texas sunsets. The clouds were pink and orange—soft brushstrokes across the sky. The cows were checking me out like I was an alien. The little cotton tail rabbit darted through the field, and a hawk soared overhead, searching for dinner. It felt like everything was in motion, everything alive. My dad and I kept waiting for the moon. I had my app out—it showed exactly where it should be. But we couldn’t see it. I guess there were more clouds than we thought. Still, it was beautiful. Even when the moon hides, the sky gives us something to love. Grateful for the colors, the creatures, and the quiet joy of looking up together.

Evening Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for curious cows, cotton tail sightings, hawk flights, and the mystery of a moon that never showed.
