Evening Reflections
Venice in Color…
Tonight, Venice Beach glowed in soft pastels as the sun slipped toward the horizon. The graffiti walls stood like open-air galleries, splashed with color and stories. Palm trees swayed in the ocean breeze, their silhouettes dancing against a sky painted with peach, gold, and blue.
The American flag flew proudly overhead, catching the wind and reminding me how beautiful simple moments can be when we slow down enough to notice them.
One unexpected sight made me smile. A seagull was carrying away a piece of trash. It felt like nature lending a helping hand, a tiny reminder that we all share this beautiful place and can do our part to care for it.
As the day faded, I held up my little message:
“Miracles are closer than you think.”
The words felt especially true as the last light settled over the beach. Sometimes miracles aren’t loud. Sometimes they’re found in a sunset, a breeze through the palms, a colorful mural, or a quiet moment of gratitude.
As I walked back to my car, I looked up and saw the VENICE sign glowing in brilliant color against the evening sky. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful night and a reminder that beauty is everywhere when we’re willing to look for it.
Grateful. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
