Morning Reflections
They Know Me Now…
This morning was pure excitement. Birds came from all directions—fluttering, calling, landing with joy. They definitely know me. It’s amazing how they communicate with each other, like a little network of happiness in motion. Pegleg greeted me faithfully, Honey Girl was in her usual spot, and Clubby—sweet Clubby—was glowing with joy. She only has one foot, but you’d never know it by her spirit. And the ravens—once so standoffish—have joined in. They used to keep their distance, watching from afar. But now they’re part of the rhythm, part of the welcome. That shift feels sacred. They jump on and off of me, full of life. And I feel it too. There’s something so special about being part of their world. About being recognized, welcomed, loved. They’re such amazing little creatures. I just love them. Grateful for this morning, for the excitement, for the trust, and for the quiet miracle of connection. And as I walked back to my car, I saw Davide painting—one of his beautiful works of art coming to life. It’s always amazing to witness how he begins with a blank canvas and somehow captures the soul of the street, the light, the moment.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for birds from all directions, for Pegleg’s greeting, Honey Girl’s presence, Clubby’s joy, and the ravens’ quiet trust. Grateful for the way they know me—and the way that makes me feel. And grateful for the witnessing the magic of creation.
