Evening Reflections

The Little Things Are Big Things

Tonight I walked around Oxford Basin in the marina. The air was soft, the water calm, and everything felt like a gentle exhale. It’s the best way to end the day—walking, reflecting, letting the light fade while thinking of all the good things that happened. A little hummingbird came down and greeted me. Just for a moment. A reminder to notice the small wonders. Because the little things are the big things. The quiet joy. The fleeting beauty. The breath of gratitude. I am grateful to be alive.

Evening Gratitude Thought

A single hummingbird. A quiet walk. A heart full of thanks. The little things carry the weight of wonder. And tonight, they carried me.

A neon green sticky note with the word 'Grateful' held up against a sunset sky and coastal landscape.
