Evening Reflections

The Beauty of Being Different…

What a beautiful evening walking in gratitude through Marina del Rey!

The marina was so peaceful, with sailboats resting quietly on the water as the sky began its beautiful transformation. Golden reflections danced across the water, and soft shades of orange, peach, and pink painted the clouds.

Every direction I looked, there was something beautiful to appreciate.

I spotted a little grebe floating peacefully on the golden water, surrounded by all those magnificent sailboats. Such a simple moment, yet so beautiful.

As I continued walking, the sky kept changing. Each cloud had its own shape, each reflection its own pattern, and every color added something special.

Tonight’s message felt especially meaningful:

“If you are lucky enough to be different, don’t ever change.”

Just look at nature. No two clouds are exactly alike. No two sunsets are ever the same. Yet every single one has its own beauty.

What a wonderful reminder that we don’t have to be like anyone else. Our differences are what make us special.

And just when I thought the evening couldn’t get any more beautiful, there was the magnificent Hunter's moon glowing behind me!

What a gift it is to experience these moments. All we have to do is slow down, look around, and appreciate what’s right in front of us.

I’m so grateful for another beautiful evening, another breathtaking sky, and the freedom to simply be myself.

Never change who you are just to fit into someone else’s world. The world needs the beautiful, unique person you were created to be.

Walking in gratitude. Always.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
