Evening Reflections

Grateful Marina Skies…

Tonight the marina felt peaceful in that soft way that only evening can create. The clouds floated slowly overhead, painting gentle textures across the sky while the last bit of sunset held on at the horizon. Sailboats rested quietly in the water, their reflections stretching across the calm surface like little brushstrokes.

A seagull flew overhead as if making one last evening round before night settled in. Then an airplane passed through the sky, reminding me how some people are arriving somewhere new while others are heading home.

I held up my little pink message that simply said, “Grateful…” and realized how perfectly it fit the moment. Gratitude doesn’t always arrive in big, loud moments. Sometimes it shows up in drifting clouds, quiet water, and a sky slowly turning toward night.

Tonight I’m grateful for peaceful places that remind me to slow down and simply notice.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
