Morning Reflections
Sun-Kissed and Sea-Blessed
This morning began with a hush, the kind that only the ocean knows. Adonis perched high above, surveying the scene like a quiet sentinel. The pigeons fluttered toward me, their joy unmistakable—wings catching the light, eyes bright with recognition. Honey Girl found her usual spot, and when I called, she came without hesitation. That trust, that bond—it never stops moving me. The sky was painted in soft hues, a watercolor of peace. I filled the sink with water, and the pigeons gathered like children at play, splashing and preening, their happiness contagious. I watched them bathe, each movement a small celebration. Some people overlook pigeons, dismiss them as ordinary. But they are anything but. They are loyal, expressive, and full of quiet magic. To witness their joy is to witness something sacred. This morning reminded me: beauty isn’t rare—it’s simply waiting to be noticed.
Morning Gratitude Thought
Today I’m grateful for Adonis, high above in the morning light. For Honey Girl’s gentle trust. For the laughter of wings in water. For the ocean’s quiet welcome. And for the reminder that joy lives in the overlooked.
