Evening Reflections

Reset by the Water…

That sure was a fast week. It’s Friday already, and tonight’s walk by the boats in the marina felt like the perfect way to close the chapter. There’s something about the quiet of the water, the slow sway of docked boats, and the hush of evening that invites a reset. A pause before the weekend begins. I’m grateful for this ritual—for the chance to reflect, to breathe, and to let the week settle. And as I walked, I kept thinking about kindness. How powerful it is. How needed it is. In a world that often feels rushed and reactive, kindness is a superpower. It softens, it connects, it heals. Let’s carry that into the weekend. Let’s choose kindness—again and again.

Evening Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for Friday’s quiet, for the marina’s peace, and for the reset that comes with slowing down. Grateful for kindness—and the way it changes everything.
