Evening Reflections
Reaching for the Light…
There is something peaceful about a marina at sunset. As the sky slowly softened into shades of gold and blue, the sailboats rested quietly, their reflections gently dancing across the water. It felt like the whole harbor had taken a deep breath.
The hibiscus flowers caught my attention tonight. Their petals were stretched toward the last rays of sunlight, reminding me that even as the day comes to an end, there is always something worth reaching for. We don’t have to stop growing just because the sun is setting.
The quote I found couldn’t have fit the moment any better:
“Don’t ever change your warm smile and golden heart.”
Sometimes the simplest words arrive exactly when they’re needed. Kindness has a way of shining long after the daylight fades. Just like those flowers reaching for the light, we can choose to keep reaching for hope, gratitude, and love.
Tonight’s sunset reminded me that beauty isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s found in still water, quiet boats, blooming flowers, and a heart that never stops appreciating the little things.
Grateful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
