Evening Reflections
Pink Sky Valentine – Venice Beach…
Tonight felt like a movie. Valentine’s Day at Venice Beach… palm trees silhouetted against the most beautiful painted pink sky. The graffiti walls stood bold and colorful against the soft pastel light, like art meeting romance.
I zoomed into the Santa Monica Pier and saw the glowing lips and hearts linking in neon. It felt playful and joyful — like the whole coastline was celebrating love in its own electric way.
As I turned to walk away from the beach, I noticed something unexpected. Everyone was looking up. Phones raised. Faces glowing. A bright streak cut across the sky — it was SpaceX. A rocket on Valentine’s Day. It felt symbolic somehow. Love reaching upward. Hope traveling farther than we can see.
On my walk back to the car, I looked up and saw the Venice sign in reverse, hanging in the twilight. There’s something about seeing it that way — quiet, almost reflective — before turning around and seeing how busy the streets were. The restaurants glowing green and gold. People out celebrating. Laughter on the sidewalks. The energy of connection everywhere.
The sky was soft. The city was alive. The ocean steady as always.
Valentine Blessings:
Where there is love there is happiness. Remember to plant love in every room this season.
Tonight reminded me that love isn’t just romance. It’s community. It’s shared wonder. It’s strangers looking up at the same sky. And sometimes… it’s a rocket streaking across a pink horizon.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Evening Gratitude Thought:
Tonight, I’m grateful for pink skies, palm trees, glowing hearts on the pier, and a rocket reminding us to look up.
