Morning Reflections

Patience in Motion…

This morning felt like a gentle reminder wrapped in feathers and light.

Pegleg greeted me first, as he always does, and followed me all the way down the pier like he had nowhere else to be. The pigeons were pure joy. Jumping on and off my hand, landing on my phone, laughing in their own way. So happy. So present. So alive.

They don’t rush. They don’t worry about what’s next. They simply trust the moment, and in doing so, they teach me how to slow down and really see what’s happening around me.

Holding this little message in my hand—Patience is so so so so important—felt perfectly timed. The waves echoed it. The birds lived it. And my heart needed it.

These morning rituals ground me. They remind me that joy doesn’t come from hurrying through life, but from noticing it. From standing still long enough for the beauty to find you.

I am deeply grateful for these mornings, for Pegleg’s loyalty, for the pigeons’ happiness, and for the quiet lessons they offer without saying a word.

Capturing beauty. Sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

Patience is a gift the birds remind me of every day. Watching them jump, play, and trust the moment teaches me to slow down, breathe deeper, and appreciate what’s right in front of me. I am so grateful for these small, beautiful lessons that arrive on wings.
