Morning Reflections
Part of Someone’s Sky…
What a beautiful morning on the pier.
Before I even really made it onto the pier, there they were, waiting for me. A whole little lookout crew lined up on top of the lifeguard tower. It made me smile because it truly looked like they were watching for me to arrive.
And once they spotted me, here came the wings.
They lined the railing, flew all around me, and filled the morning with that beautiful energy I never get tired of experiencing. Honey Girl was especially relentless today. She was determined to stay close and make absolutely certain I knew she was there.
There is something so special about seeing how happy they are. Their excitement is contagious. It really does feel like a natural serotonin boost, except mine apparently comes with feathers.
I think that’s why today’s message feels so perfect:
“You may never see all the lives you touched, but every light you share becomes part of someone else’s sky.”
We may never know how far one small act of kindness travels. A little love, a little patience, simply showing up day after day. It can mean more than we ever realize.
This morning, surrounded by wings beneath that beautiful cloudy sky, I was reminded once again that some of the greatest gifts in life can’t be bought. They’re found in trust, connection, kindness, and those little moments that make your heart ridiculously happy.
Forever grateful for another morning, another sky, and all these beautiful wings that keep finding their way into my path.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
