Never Stop Believing in Magic — A Marina Sunset Story…
Sunset in Marina del Rey after the rain feels like a quiet benediction. The sky turned gold, brushed with warmth and softness, while the clouds still shimmered in the water like watercolor glass. The marina reflected heaven’s artwork back to me — proof that even after a storm, beauty lingers in the places willing to hold it.
I walked under the pier, where the world slows down and sound turns gentle. The tide was low, the sand cool, the air peaceful. Two dogs raced past me, chasing each other down the beach, pure joy in motion, living like someone left the gate open. Their play felt like a reminder that happiness doesn’t need permission — it just needs presence.
As I reached the parking lot, ready to end the walk, a small hummingbird swooped into view and made sure I noticed her. A tiny flash of life saying, “I’m here too.” That’s the magic of gratitude walks — they open your eyes to miracles small enough to miss, yet meaningful enough to change your whole day.
I stood there a moment, grateful for the storm, for the calm that followed, for the laughter of dogs, and for a hummingbird who wanted to be seen. Nature always knows when to whisper directly to your heart.
Capturing beauty, sharing light. Magic lives here — in the everyday, in the overlooked, in the faithful rituals we keep with ourselves.

Evening Gratitude Thought:
I never need the storm to clear for the walk to matter. The sun was hidden, but the sky still turned gold. The rain left reflections like little love letters in the water. Dogs ran past in unfiltered joy. A hummingbird made sure I saw her. Peace waited under the pier. I kept my commitment. And God met me there — in the calm, in the small, in the magic. I am grateful.
