Evening Reflections
Mother’s Dreams…
Tonight felt like a quiet prayer stretched across the Texas sky. The pink clouds softened the edges of the day while a tiny quail sat calmly on a weathered wooden post, as if it had nowhere else to be but fully present in the moment. Two doves rested together on the wire, the dirt road disappeared into stillness, and the sunset glowed like a gentle reminder that peace is often found in the simplest places.
Mother’s Day carries so much emotion for so many people, and tonight I found myself thinking about the dreams our mothers hold for us. The hope that we would shine brightly, love deeply, and stay kind in a world that can sometimes feel heavy.
“May we all shine our light in the best ways we can, like in our mothers' dreams.” 💛
Tonight, more than anything, I am grateful for my mom. Grateful for her love, her strength, her sacrifices, and for all the ways she has helped shape who I am. Some people are like sunsets… they leave warmth behind even after the light fades.
Grateful for peaceful skies, quiet roads, little birds who pause long enough to remind us to slow down, and the love that continues to guide us long after the sun slips below the horizon.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
