Moments Are All We Have
This morning at Pali Lookout felt like stepping into a dream. The sunrise spilled golden light across the cliffs, and just as the sky began to blush, a rainbow arched quietly into view—like nature’s gentle exclamation point. I stopped at different lookout spots, each one offering its own breathtaking view. Cats lounged in the early warmth, chickens pecked curiously, and the roosters—oh, the roosters—stood tall and proud, as if they knew they were part of the show. There’s something about their confidence that inspires me. They don’t question their place in the world—they just show up, fully themselves. Later, I wandered back down to the beach, greeted by birds of every kind. Each one a reminder that beauty is everywhere, if we’re willing to slow down and see it. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. This morning was a mosaic of light, life, and quiet joy.
Morning Gratitude Thought
Grateful for rainbows at sunrise, proud roosters in the mist, and birds that greet the day with ease. Nature reminds me to stand tall, show up fully, and notice the beauty in every corner.
