Evening Reflections
Marina Magic in Motion…
Tonight, in Marina del Rey felt like a quiet little performance just for those willing to slow down and watch.
The boats rested gently, their reflections stretching like soft brushstrokes across the water as the sun melted into gold. The sky held that perfect in-between moment… not quite day, not quite night… just enough light to remind you to pause.
And then, the star of the evening appeared.
A little grebe, gliding and spinning across the water like it had somewhere magical to be. It wasn’t rushing. It wasn’t trying. Just moving in its own rhythm, creating ripples that shimmered like tiny echoes of joy. A reminder that sometimes the most beautiful moments aren’t loud… they’re soft, simple, and completely unplanned.
I stood there watching, feeling that familiar sense of calm settle in. That quiet knowing.
Things unfold in perfect time.
Not forced. Not rushed. Just… unfolding.
Grateful for this moment. Grateful I showed up to see it.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
