Morning Reflections
Look Up…
Sometimes the simplest things carry the biggest reminders.
This morning, it was the birds.
I could watch them fly all day. There’s something about seeing wings fill the sky that makes everything else grow quiet for a moment. They remind me to look up. To stop focusing on what’s directly in front of me and notice the beauty that has been there all along.
Maybe that’s one of the reasons I love them so much. They’ve taught me that there is always another direction to look. When the world feels heavy, look up. When life gets busy, look up. When you need a reminder of how beautiful this life can be, look up.
Today there were wings everywhere, dancing across the clouds, and all I had to do was lift my eyes.
“Life can be so beautiful.”
And it really can be, especially when we remember to notice it.
Thank you, little wings, for another beautiful reminder.
