Evening Reflections
Let Your Light Shine…
The Venice Canals felt especially peaceful tonight. The water was as still as glass, turning every palm tree, bridge, and glowing cloud into a painting. Three ducks took a leisurely stroll before hopping into the canal, then they just stood there and wiggled as if they didn’t have a care in the world. Watching them made me smile and reminded me that life doesn’t always have to be rushed.
The vibrant purple flowers added a beautiful splash of color, quietly reminding me that beauty often blooms in the simplest places. As the sun slipped below the horizon, the reflections grew even more magical, making it feel like the sky had decided to visit the water one last time before nightfall.
The message I carried with me tonight couldn’t have been more fitting:
“Embrace the sunshine in your soul and let it light up the world around you.”
We all have a light within us. Sometimes it’s shared through a smile, a kind word, or simply choosing gratitude. When we let that light shine, it has a way of reaching people we may never even realize we’ve touched.
Tonight, I’m grateful for peaceful canals, happy little ducks, blooming flowers, glowing reflections, and another beautiful day to experience this incredible world.
