Evening Reflections
Hello, September…
There was something especially beautiful about watching the sun set over the marina tonight. The boats rested quietly in the harbor, their masts stretching into a sky painted with the soft golden glow of evening. The reflections shimmered across the water, and everything seemed peaceful as the first day of September came to an end.
I loved the little reminder I brought with me tonight: “Watch more September sunsets than Netflix.”
There are only so many September sunsets, and each one will be completely different from the one before it. I want to be there for as many of them as I can, looking up, noticing the colors, watching the light change and appreciating another day.
What a beautiful way to end the first day of a brand-new month.
