Evening Reflections

Goodness Comes Back to You…

Sunset tonight at Burton Chace Park felt wonderfully still. The sailboats rested in the marina beneath the soft evening sky, their tall masts stretching upward while the last light of the day reflected across the water.

Of course, there were wings. A cormorant was perched high in a tree, quietly watching everything below, while another little gathering of cormorants floated together across the water. Then I looked up and caught the faintest crescent moon shining through the evening sky.

It’s these simple moments that remind me how much beauty is waiting for us when we slow down long enough to notice it.

Tonight’s message felt perfect:

“Everything you do comes back to you. Do good. Be good.”

Such a simple reminder of how I want to move through this life. Put kindness into the world. Care for what crosses your path. Leave things a little better than you found them. Give without needing anything in return.

Another sunset. Another moon. Another gathering of wings. Another reminder that the smallest moments can hold so much beauty.

Forever grateful for another beautiful day.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.
