Evening Reflections

Harbor Stillness

Tonight I walked by the sailboats in the marina. The water barely moved, the boats resting like sleeping giants. Lines creaked softly in the breeze. Masts whispered against the sky. There’s a particular kind of peace here—quiet, spacious, steady. No fireworks. No spectacle. Just the moon beginning her slow rise and the soft hush of sails at rest. A beautiful way to end the evening.

Evening Gratitude Thought:

  • Grateful for waters that reflect peace.
  • For masts that sway but never shout.
  • And for evenings that drift me gently into rest.

Handwritten note held up against marina with boats at sunset.
