Evening Reflections
Goodbye to a Day That Will Never Return
Tonight, I walked around Oxford Basin, wrapped in the hush of a sunless sunset. The light didn’t show, but the stillness did. And sometimes that’s the better gift. Just being outside—water nearby, the trees unmoving, the air soft— it felt like nature was helping me say goodbye. Each day we’re given is one-of-a-kind. And when it's over, it becomes a memory no sky will replicate. That truth hums louder at twilight.
Evening Gratitude Thought
- Grateful for the moments that close quietly.
- For nature as witness and comfort.
- And for the gentle ending of a day that I will never see again.
