Evening Reflections
Goodbye, September…
I feel like I blinked and it was over. But tonight, I got to end it with the sunset—soft light, sailboats drifting by, a sea lion sleeping peacefully near the trees. There’s something comforting about that. The way the boats move slowly, the way the sea lion rests without worry, the way the trees stand still in the fading light. It reminds me that endings can be gentle. That time moves fast, but presence slows it down. I’m grateful for this moment. For the quiet, for the beauty, for the way September said goodbye.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for the last sunset of September, for sailboats drifting, a sea lion sleeping, and the peace that comes with letting go.
