Evening Reflections
Eventually, All Waves Settle…
Sunset tonight in the marina was full of life and contrast. Beautiful clouds stretched across the sky while sailboats glided quietly through the golden water. A seagull stood high on his pole, feathers blowing wildly in the wind like he was announcing the end of the day.
Below him, the sea lions were putting on a whole show. Some were playing. Some were battling. Some were sleeping in a tangled pile. They barked and splashed and rolled around as if the dock itself were a stage.
The moon was shining straight down from above me, steady and bright. And right there beside me was one lone pigeon, quietly watching it all too.
I held up my little message and read the words: “Eventually, all waves settle.” And it felt true in every possible way. Even with all the noise and movement, there was a calm underneath it all. A reminder that everything has its rhythm. Every storm pauses. Every day finds its ending. Tonight, didn’t need to be silent to be peaceful. It just needed to be seen.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Evening Gratitude Thought:
Tonight, I am grateful for noisy docks, playful sea lions, windblown feathers, a glowing moon, and the reminder that eventually, all waves settle — even the ones inside of me.
