Evening Reflections
Falling in Love With Being Alive…
Tonight’s sunset at Burton Chace Park felt like a quiet reminder from the universe.
The sky slowly turned gold as the sun slipped behind the marina. Sailboats glided peacefully through the water while a speedboat zipped by leaving silver ripples behind it. The evening light wrapped around everything like a soft blanket.
I walked along the water and noticed a seagull standing close by, completely unafraid. It looked straight into my eyes as if we were sharing the same moment together. I love those little connections with nature. They remind me we are all part of something bigger.
Out on the dock, three pelicans were lined up like old friends watching the sunset. One of them had already tucked his head in, trying to sneak in a little nap before the night arrived. Nearby, seagulls were splashing happily in the water, enjoying their evening bath.
A beautiful silhouette of a tree stood on the hill overlooking the marina. I love how trees look at sunset. They feel strong, peaceful, and timeless.
Watching everything unfold, I was reminded how incredible creation is. God has made so many beautiful things. Even things that look similar are completely different when you take the time to really see them.
Just like people.
We are all unique in our own way. No two lives, no two stories, and no two souls are the same.
And maybe that’s the point.
Tonight the sunset seemed to whisper this simple message:
“I hope you fall in love with being alive.”
Grateful for another beautiful evening.
