Evening Reflections
Evening at Fisherman’s Village…
Sunset tonight at Fisherman’s Village felt like the world pausing in quiet anticipation. All along the rooftops, pelicans and great egrets gathered for the best lookout spots, their silhouettes outlined against the soft evening sky. Some pelicans took their time grooming themselves before dinner, unhurried and content, while night herons claimed their usual posts—some obediently perched, others rebelliously standing on the spikes, one even choosing the lamppost as its throne.
Down by the water, sea lions were piled together, napping peacefully, completely surrendered to the calm of the harbor. A single grebe floated gently on the water, and just beyond, a sailboat made its way home for the evening, cutting quietly through the reflections.
Everything felt synchronized—birds, boats, breath.
As I was leaving, I looked up and noticed a sign that simply read: Be Kind. It stopped me in my tracks. A small reminder, perfectly placed, at the end of a day filled with patience, presence, and shared rhythm.
Tonight wasn’t loud or dramatic—it was gentle, observant, and full of grace. A reminder that so much beauty exists when we slow down long enough to notice it.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Evening Gratitude Thought:
Tonight, I’m grateful for the quiet moments before abundance arrives—the waiting, the watching, the gentle reminder to always be kind.
