Morning Reflection
Even Here, They Find Me
Today I landed in Hawaii, and with it came a gentle reminder: I love to travel. I forget sometimes, tucked into the rhythm of my daily rituals, how refreshing it is to step into somewhere new. The air feels different here—soft, salt-laced, and full of possibility. And yet, even in this unfamiliar place, the familiar found me. A pigeon approached my lunch table like an old friend, and later, at the beach, another fluttered nearby. It felt like a quiet blessing, a whisper from home saying, “I see you.” The water shimmered with that unmistakable Hawaiian blue, inviting reflection and renewal. I let myself pause. To breathe. To reset. To remember that beauty follows us when we show up with open eyes.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Today I’m grateful for the way new places awaken old joys. For the comfort of routine and the thrill of breaking it. For pigeons who find me, no matter the zip code. For water that invites reflection, and for the quiet truth that connection travels with us.
