Morning Reflections
Born to Do What We Love
Happy September! The air feels different today—lighter, brighter, like the month itself is smiling. I walked along the waterfront, greeted by birds of every kind. It’s always like that: I find them, or maybe they find me. Either way, it feels like a quiet reunion with joy. The roosters strutted with such confidence, unapologetically themselves. Watching them, I thought—this is what it looks like when you do what you’re born to do. There’s a kind of power in that. The surfers out on Waikiki had it too, riding waves with ease and passion. It reminded me: when we choose what we love, we tap into something deeper. And if you haven’t found that yet, don’t worry—there’s still time. You just have to decide. Gratitude opens the door. The more you feel it, the more you see. Tiny miracles everywhere. Birds, waves, sunlight, confidence. September, I’m ready for you.
Morning Gratitude Thought
Grateful for the birds who greet me, the roosters who remind me to stand tall, and the surfers who show me what it means to flow with purpose. Grateful for the gift of choosing joy, and for the quiet truth that it’s never too late to begin.
