Evening Reflections
Cotton Candy Skies…
The sky was so beautiful this evening, blanketed with cotton candy clouds. I love the silhouette of people standing on the berm, watching the sunset—it’s always so beautiful. That’s the gift of nature: you see people having a moment of gratitude simply by noticing the beauty. It’s one of my favorite things. The seagulls are starting to follow me around now, just like the pigeons do. And tonight, as I was standing on the beach, the little sanderlings—those tiny minions of the shore—ran up to me too. I usually see them by the ocean, not up by the sand berm. Maybe they got the memo. Grateful for skies, silhouettes, wings, and the joy of unexpected company.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for cotton candy skies, silhouettes of gratitude, and the joy of little wings running toward me.
