Morning Reflections
Hole in the Sky…
This morning, the clouds stretched across the beach like waves above the ocean, but right in the middle was a beautiful opening, almost like a hole in the sky for God to see through. The sunlight poured through softly, lighting up the water, the pier, and every little feather waiting along the railing.
The pigeons were lined up this morning, watching closely for breakfast and little moments of connection. They kept jumping on and off my hand, wings fluttering with excitement, completely unbothered by the world around them. Their happiness always feels contagious.
One of my favorite things about pigeons is the tiny little heart shape so many of them have on their noses. It’s like love was built right into them from the start.
The clouds, the light, the sound of the waves, and those tiny feathered hearts reminded me this morning that even on cloudy days, there’s always light finding its way through.
Grateful. 🤍
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:
Sometimes the sky opens just enough to remind us that the light never left. Even the smallest moment of kindness, connection, or beauty can shine through the clouds.
