Evening Reflections
Where the Sky Paints Hope…
Tonight felt like a page turning.
Out here on a long Texas dirt road, the world slows down just enough for you to hear what matters. The sky stretched wide like it had something to say, soft gold melting into gray, holding that last bit of light a little longer… like it didn’t want to let go either.
A rabbit sat still in the tall grass, completely present. A lone bird perched in a weathered tree, singing into the hush. An old tractor rested quietly, like it had done its work and was now just watching the sky change colors.
There was no rush. No noise. Just space… the kind that lets your thoughts breathe.
And then the message in my hand felt even louder out here:
“Let the last sunset of April paint your goals and dreams with hopeful hues.”
Not loud. Not demanding. Just a gentle reminder that every ending carries a beginning tucked inside it.
Sometimes all we need is a wide open sky to remember that there’s still so much ahead of us.
Grateful for quiet moments like this.
Grateful for the reminder to keep dreaming.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
