Evening Reflections

Where the Sky Meets the Wall

Friday night in Venice Beach feels like a love letter written in color and flight. The graffiti walls stand bold and unwavering, a canvas of stories that never lose sight of the horizon. Tonight, the clouds gathered like soft brushstrokes—layered, luminous, alive. And then, the pelicans. Sweeping overhead in perfect unison, like a breath held and released by the ocean itself. I watched them, as I always do, with reverence. They remind me that grace doesn’t need permission. It just moves. There’s something sacred about ending the week here. Feet in the sand, heart wide open, sky performing its quiet miracles. I am grateful for this ritual. For the walls that speak without words. For the birds that fly like poetry. For the way beauty shows up—bold, soft, and always in motion.

Evening Gratitude Thought

Tonight, the sky painted softly and the pelicans danced above me. The graffiti walls stood strong, like memory etched in color. I am grateful for this rhythm—of flight, of light, of presence. Venice always reminds me: beauty is both wild and intentional.
