Evening Reflections
Where the Quiet Holds You…
Tonight felt like stepping into a pause button the world rarely presses.
A long, open road stretched ahead, framed by weathered trees and quiet fields, as the sun slipped gently beneath a blanket of clouds. There was no rush, no noise… just the soft chorus of birds singing their final notes of the day.
A hawk perched in the tree, then took to the sky, gliding like it had nowhere to be but exactly where it was. A rabbit blended so perfectly into the earth it almost felt like a reminder… not everything is meant to stand out. Some things are meant to belong.
And then the horse… slowly walking toward me, steady and calm, like it recognized something familiar. Like it knew this moment mattered.
Even the smallest details felt like messages.
Even the quiet carried meaning.
“May the 4th be with you until Cinco de Mayo.”
A little note, a little smile… tucked into a vast and peaceful evening.
Grateful for the stillness.
Grateful for the space to notice.
Grateful for moments that don’t ask for anything… except that you be there.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
