Evening Reflections
When You Shine, Others Shine Too…
Tonight, in the marina felt like a quiet miracle. The kind you don’t plan… you just stumble into. The sailboats were resting in the water like they were listening to the sunset. The sky melted into soft gold and peach, and then the silver moon slowly rose above it all, shining down like a gentle spotlight. Everything felt hushed, as if the world had decided to whisper instead of shout.
Out on the water, a little grebe was dancing. Spinning and gliding across the surface like it knew it was part of something special. Watching it made me smile so big. It’s amazing how such a small bird can make such a big moment.
I held my little message in my hand: “When you shine, you remind others they can shine too.” And it felt like the whole evening was echoing it back to me.
I love how I always find a bird…
Or maybe the bird finds me.
There’s something so comforting about that. Like nature knows where to meet me. Like beauty is always waiting when I show up with open eyes and an open heart.
Moon above. Sailboats below. A dancing grebe in between. It was one of those evenings that didn’t need anything else. Just presence. Just gratitude. Just light reminding light how to glow.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Evening Gratitude Thought:
Tonight, I am grateful for silver moonlight, sailboats at rest, and a little grebe dancing on the water — and for the reminder that when I shine, I help others shine too.
