Morning Reflections
When the Moon Stays for Sunrise…
This morning felt extra magical. The moon was still shining above the ocean when I arrived at the pier, like it didn’t want to miss the sunrise. The waves were crashing beautifully, and surfers were already in the water, patiently waiting for the right moment to catch a wave.
There weren’t too many pigeons out today. I think they’re still adjusting to the time change just like the rest of us. Even the birds need a few days to figure out the new rhythm of the morning.
But the seagulls were wide awake. They were all lined up on the wooden rail watching the sunrise like a front-row audience to one of the most beautiful shows on Earth.
The sky slowly filled with warm golden light while the moon faded gently into the blue. It felt like two worlds meeting for just a moment.
Standing there watching the waves crash and the surfers float patiently in the water, I felt that quiet reminder again — life is so beautiful when we slow down enough to notice it.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply show up for the moment.
So this morning I whispered a little prayer to the sky:
“Universe, show me how good it can get.”
And the ocean answered with another perfect sunrise.
Thank you for starting your day with me.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
