Morning Reflections
When Nature Pauses for You...
This morning felt like a quiet invitation… the kind you don’t hear, but somehow you answer anyway.
Out here in the wide-open Texas stillness, it was as if everything slowed down just enough for me to notice. A llama stood calmly in the distance, grounded and steady. A rabbit looked right at me, ears tall like little antennas tuned into the moment. A robin hopped closer, curious and unafraid. A prairie dog peeked up from the earth, reminding me how even the smallest life carries wonder. And perched gently on the wire, a western kingbird added a soft splash of color to the sky.
One by one, they appeared… almost like they were posing, like they knew I needed this moment.
And then I held up my message:
“Welcome, May!
May you be happy.
May you be well.
May you be safe.
May you have strength.
May you have joy.
May you be filled with love and kindness.
May you be blessed today and always.”
Standing there, surrounded by creation, it didn’t feel like just words. It felt like a blessing carried on the breeze… something bigger than me, something meant for all of us.
Sometimes, when we slow down and show up, the world shows up right back.
And in those quiet, ordinary moments… everything becomes extraordinary.
Grateful for mornings like this.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
