Morning Reflections
Trick or Treat…
The birds were super excited this morning about Halloween! They definitely made up for missing yesterday. Birds came from every direction—so excited, so alive. It’s hard to describe the joy I feel when I see them. Happiness comes in feathers. Pegleg did his usual greeting, bold and sweet. Domino came in full force—fast, focused, and ready. Honey Girl was a little late to the party, but she showed up with her usual grace. The pelicans flew in V-formation, shifting directions like dancers in the sky. They always make me stop and stare. Surfers were out, waiting to catch waves under the morning light. It was the perfect morning.

Grateful for feathered joy, pelican choreography, surfer stillness, and the magic of Halloween morning.
