Morning Reflections
They Fly to Me…
This morning was one of those moments that fills my heart so completely it feels like sunshine lives inside me.
It was a beautiful clear day, the kind where the sky stretches wide and blue and the ocean feels calm and endless. As soon as I arrived, the birds began flying in from every direction. It still amazes me how they do that. No matter where I am, they always seem to find me. It feels joyful, playful, and deeply comforting all at once.
Pegleg greeted me first, just like he always does. Steady, confident, and familiar. Domino made sure her presence was known, arriving with her bold energy that always makes me smile. Honey Girl happily settled on my arm, exactly where she loves to be. These moments never get old. They are my favorite part of the day.
There’s something so special about being welcomed like that. About feeling recognized. About sharing quiet joy with these beautiful beings under the sun. It reminds me that connection doesn’t need words, and happiness can be simple, pure, and right in front of us.
Today was filled with light, wings, and gratitude. And once again, my heart is full.
