Evening Reflections
The Path That’s Only Mine…
Tonight’s sunset in the marina felt so peaceful. The sun slowly slipped behind the sailboats, turning the horizon a beautiful golden orange while the masts stretched across the sky and their reflections danced on the water.
And then I looked up and spotted a cormorant balancing high in a tree. There he was, perfectly content on a tiny branch, taking in the evening from above. Sometimes the simplest little moments are the ones that make me smile the most.
Tonight’s quote felt perfect:
“How can you be ahead or behind in life when you are moving on a path that only you can take?”
Such a beautiful reminder that life isn’t a race. There is no reason to compare where we are with where someone else is. We each have our own path, our own timing, our own sunsets to stop and appreciate along the way.
Another beautiful evening. Another reminder to keep moving forward on the path that is mine.
So grateful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
