Evening Reflections
Soft Light, Steady Heart
Tonight, the sky wore a veil of quiet gray, the kind that softens the edges of the day. The sunset didn’t blaze—it whispered. And in that hush, a hummingbird fluttered near, a tiny messenger of sweetness. I sat beneath my favorite tree, the one that knows all my endings, overlooking the Bluffs where the ocean breathes in rhythm with my own. There’s a kind of beauty in the understated. In the moments that don’t ask to be noticed but still offer themselves fully. I’m grateful for this gentle close to the day—for the stillness, the winged visitor, and the way nature always finds a way to say goodnight.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for quiet skies, for the hum of wings, and for the tree that holds my evening prayers.
