Evening Reflections
So Many Things to Notice…
The thing I love most about this ritual is seeing how many things I can notice and appreciate. As I was walking out, I saw the beautiful clouds with fishermen casting their lines and sailboats passing by. Looking back, I could see the bridge and a dog running happily on the beach with his ball. The moon was shining faintly above as the cormorants rested on the rocks. One of them was really watching me—probably wondering why I was pointing the camera at him. So many different types of boats in the water, and then the pelicans made their grand entrance, flying in one by one for the night. I’m always captivated by them. The sky turned pink, with what looked like an orange and gold arrow painted across it. The cormorant flew off, and as I walked away, the clouds shifted into a brilliant hot pink. So grateful for this beauty.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for the ritual of noticing—the clouds, the moon, the wings, and the joy in every detail.
