Morning Reflections
Pink Sky, Missing Wings…
This morning was quiet. The birds had been spooked by a dog that kept chasing them. It felt a little strange not having pigeons in the pictures. The pelicans were gathered south of the pier for their morning meet-up, then flew north toward Malibu. The sky was a soft blend of pink and blue, mirrored in the water—so beautiful. The sunrise was perfect. Adonis was up above, surveying the area for his morning breakfast, calm and watchful. The only thing missing was the pigeons. But I’ll see them later. I’m grateful for every part of this ritual—even the quiet shifts.
Morning Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for pink skies, pelican meet-ups, Adonis above, and the gentle reminder that even absence has its place.
